Identity theaft



Through the use of e-mail and other techniques on the internet, scam artists are employing a technique known as PHISHING to try to steal people's personal infomation' such as credit card numbers, banking information and passwords. this is called identity theft.



ways to stop or prevent identity theft:

• Shred your financial documents before throwing them away.
• Don't click links in unsolicited e-mail messages
• Enroll in credit monitoring service.

So to all people out there... Do not be blind sighted and be aware of such things. Don't be ignorant by thinking it would never happen to you, it could happen to the smartest of people and you could be one of them.
